What a Great Day!

After 18 long and dry years, Yuengling finally arrived in Georgia!

My birthday is this Thursday--and what a great present. I bought the first case from our local package store and then treated myself at a local pub to some Lager.

I was born in Pottsville, grew up in Northern Virginia, and moved to GA. in 1990. Constantly emailed the folks at the brewery asking for a time table on the Georgia arrival. Man, what a long wait. Over the years, I have lugged cases through airports, praying that the bottles wouldn't break or the cans pop during the flight so that I could replenish my personal beer refrigerator with the brew.

So far, it's Lager, Lager Light, and Black Tan--which is great. Hopefully, we'll see some Chetty Ale and Porter available soon. Looking forward to seeing some southern converts to our cherished suds...

Loving life in Ga.

Joe
